Gyroscopic (spin) Drift and Coriolis Effect

Author: Bryan Litz, Applied Ballistics

Description: For normal long range shooting, spin drift and Coriolis effect are small enough that they won’t put you off normal sized targets. However at ELR, if you neglect to account for these secondary variables, they can grow much larger in magnitude and make it impossible to hit targets without accounting for thier influence. This article explains the science behind these variables and how to consider their effects.
